The next chapter of Summa Classics has arrived.

After welcoming some of dance music's most influential names to the palms, we're keeping the momentum rolling with another act that helped shape the soundtrack of a generation.

On Friday 13 November, Hercules & Love Affair touch down at Summa House for a special open-air performance under the Brisbane sky.

For those who know, no introduction is needed.

Born from New York's underground club culture and led by Andrew Butler, Hercules & Love Affair emerged in the late 2000s with a sound that blurred the lines between disco, house, electronic music and pure emotion. Their breakout anthem Blind became an instant classic, finding its way into clubs, festivals and headphones across the globe.

Nearly two decades later, their music remains as relevant as ever.

While dance music trends have come and gone, Hercules & Love Affair have continued to create records built on feeling rather than fashion. Euphoric vocals. Disco-inspired grooves. House rhythms that pull people together. The kind of music that feels equally at home on a festival stage, in a warehouse at sunrise or on an open-air dancefloor beneath the palms.

That's exactly why they're the perfect fit for Summa Classics.

The series was created to celebrate the records, artists and moments that shaped dance culture. It's a nod to the nights that turned into mornings. When Ministry of Sound compilations were passed around like treasure, dancefloors were where friendships were made and nobody cared about capturing the moment because they were too busy living it.

Every edition brings together people who share that connection.

People who remember.

People who still believe a great record can change the energy of an entire room.

This November, Hercules & Love Affair bring that energy to Brisbane for one night only.

Joining them are local favourites Brett J and Adam Hunter, setting the tone from doors and carrying the crowd deep into the evening.

Expect disco. Expect house. Expect hands in the air moments. Expect that feeling when a familiar melody arrives at exactly the right time.

Most of all, expect another unforgettable chapter in the Summa Classics story.

Friday 13 November.

Open air.

Under lights.

Surrounded by palms and people who know.
